Under Section 212 (1) (a) allows for a Licensing Authority to set Fees for Premises Licenses for Premises that are to be used for Gambling.

The Gambling (Premises Licence Fees) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 sets out how this is achieved.

The bandings were set by Central Government and Licensing Authorities set the Fees for the district within those bandings based on cost recovery.
