Street Collections An application for a permit must be received by the Licensing Department not later than one month before the date on which it is proposed to make the collection. It is advisable however to apply as early as is possible due to a limited number issued per day and to telephone to check the availability before the application is made. These spaces can only be reserved if an appropriate application form has been submitted. Street Collection Regulations Application Form House to House Collections No collection in any locality for a charitable purpose may be made unless the promoter holds a permit. This permit is granted by the Licensing Authority once the appropriate application form has been submitted. A permit for collection can not be granted for a period longer than twelve months.
