If you wish to show, demonstrate or perform a hypnotism act in public within the District of Maldon, you must have authorisation from Maldon District Council.  You must comply with any conditions attached to an authorisation - see download area.

Will Tacit Consent Apply?

 

Yes.  This means that you will be able to act as though your application is granted if you have not heard from Maldon District Council within 28 days from the submission of your application.  This period may be reduced in the case of a hypnotist who has performed at the same venue within the last three years without any problems occurring.

Consumer Complaint

Volunteers, who must be aged 18 or over, can refuse at any point to continue taking part in the performance.
