Prior to 28th February 2005, Door Supervisors employed by Premises to control the entry and exit of persons at the premises were required to be registered with Local Authority.

It is now a legal requirement to be registered with the Security Industry Authority if you are working as a door supervisor and an offence to act as a door supervisor without an authorisation or to employ any person as a Door Supervisor.
