The Friends of Southminster Community Open Spaces will be hosting a number of events at Orchard Meadows and Seasons Wood in 2008, including ;-

Volunteer work party - coppicing blackthorn and replanting with a mixture of native tree species.  We will also be planting some wildflower bulbs such as bluebells and daffodils - Sunday 2nd November and Sunday 16th November 11am to 2.30pm - meet in Seasons Wood.

Everyone is welcome to help with these projects but under 16's must be accompanied by an adult and appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn. All tools, gloves and drinks will be provided.
