This small site has been created out of an old gravel pit. It is accessible on foot from Hester Place or The Pippins.

The Friends of Hester Place are an active community group who work with Maldon District Council to manage and improve the site.

Facilities include:- enclosed childrens (under 12 years old) play site, kickabout area, basketball net and wildlife area.
