Mooring Information
Blackwater moorings
We are responsible for a number of mooring areas from Maldon down to St Lawrence on the south side of the River Blackwater. We are not responsible for moorings in Bradwell Creek or Tollesbury and applications for moorings in these areas should be made to Essex County Council at the Bradwell Outdoor Education Centre or to Tollesbury Saltings Ltd respectively.
All of our moorings are half tide moorings, which means that they will dry out at low water. Some deep water moorings are available and applicants will need to identify those areas and contact the relevant moorings body for further information.
If you wish to apply for a mooring within the Maldon District please complete the application form. Please read the mooring regulations before completing the form.
