This is owned by the District Council and operated by Leisure Connection Ltd on behalf of the Council.
The centre is fully accessible to people with disabilities, with a hearing loop at the main reception area. There are disabled toilets in each main area of the building and disabled showers.
The whole facility is situated on the ground floor and the swimming pool can be accessed by a specialist hoist if required.

The sports centre has a main sports hall and bar area, which are fully accessible. The changing facilities and the Harpers Gym have limited accessibility; however there is a disabled toilet facility.

Maldon Community Leisure Artificial Turf Pitch

The Artificial Turf Pitch ( ATP ) installed in Maldon has been funded jointly by the Football Foundation, Maldon District Council, Essex FA and Plume School. It is run by Maldon Community Leisure. The project was developed in partnership with local football clubs, the District Council and the Essex FA after the site was identified in 2009 as a much needed facility in the Maldon District. The facility was opened officially opened in January 2010.
The ATP is used by the Plume School during the day until 5pm and will have a very positive impact on School sport. From 5pm it is open to the public and will be a tremendous opportunity for the whole community to train, play and enjoy a state of the art playing surface. It is also available for bookings at weekends. During the school holidays it will be available from 9am to 5pm daily for sporting events.
Whilst using the facility all customers have access to the changing rooms and toilets.

Tennis/Netball Courts
The District Council, in partnership with the Maldon Tennis Club, have invested in re-surfacing the two tennis courts located next to Maldon Bowls Club in Promenade Park.
This has enabled the courts to be open all year round and become a focal point for tennis in the local area.

- Grass football pitches/cricket strip
The District Council maintain and book out the pitches on Promenade Park to local clubs and organisations. Availability is limited but please telephone 01621 854477 for more information.

Skate Park

This is an informal skate area situated at the far end of Millfields, beyond the tennis courts.
