The Maldon and South Chelmsford PCT in partnership with 20 other agencies including the Council received nearly £1million lottery funding from the New Opportunities Fund in 2002 to develop two Healthy Living Centres in the Maldon district. The centres will provide a combination of information, advice and activities aimed at reducing health inequalities and raising health awareness.
