Strategy for Older People

The existing Strategy for Older People has been reviewed and Maldon District Council are in the process of consulting on a new draft Strategy for older people. The strategy is entitled 'Fast Forward', and covers the period 2008 to 20011.

The consultation begins on 1 May 08 and ends on 23 July 08. Please take the opportunity to read the document and offer any comments that you feel appropriate to enable us to ensure that the new strategy is representative of the needs of older people living within our community.

The Strategy will be distributed to both representatives of older persons groups and representatives of organisations that provide services for older persons for their comments as well. Comments should be directed to Chris Rust, Community Development Officer at Maldon District Council.
