There are many partnerships initiatives involving statutory and voluntary agencies within the Maldon District such as walking for Health schemes, a healthy living centre and fall prevention initiatives.

The Maldon District has a wealth of voluntary groups and organisations with expertise in many subjects. 

Maldon District Council provides support to some of these organisations by way of the provision of accommodation and availability of meeting places.  There is also a Community Grant Scheme which included the provision of small grants to voluntary organisations.

The Maldon and District Council for Voluntary Service provides help and support to voluntary groups within the District including the provision of training and assistance with grant applications and access to a resource centre which includes a meeting facility.
