MALDON DISTRICT COMMUNITY SAFETY PARTNERSHIP Welcome to the Community Safety web pages for the Maldon District. On 1 April 1999 the Partnership launched its first three year Community Safety Strategy. Further strategies were released in 2002 and the latest in 2005 to build on the reduction in levels of crime and disorder already achieved. Maldon is a comparatively low crime area featuring in the top quartile of CDRP's for both level and reduction of crime. Partnership work is central to all CDRP activity and as a reulst it continues to grow with over 70 organisations now playing an active role in reducing crime and disorder.
