Residents Parking in the Maldon District

The residents' parking scheme enables residents with no off-street parking to park on the road in which they live.

They are found in areas where parking by non-residents (for example for commuting or shopping purposes) reduces the amount of available parking.

Permit Holders at all times.

The purchase of a permit cannot guarantee the holder a space, but will prohibit non-residents from parking there.

Residents' Parking Zone restrictions apply at all times.

Only those people living within a Residents' Parking Zone may apply for a permit. To check if you qualify please contact Parking Services by telephoning 01621 854477, or filling in our online Contact the Parking Services Team e-form.

There are eight roads in the scheme, all in Maldon town centre:

Beeleigh Road                             (Zone 1)

Fambridge Road                         (Zone 2)

Tenterfield Road                         (Zone 3)

Victoria Road                               (Zone 4)

North Street                                  (Zone 5)

Church Street                              (Zone 6)

Mill Road                                       (Zone 7)

Station Road                                (Zone 8)

If you are a resident living in one of the above zones and believe you may be entitled to a residents parking permit please contact the Council for assistance.  An application form and information sheet is available in the 'Download Area' of this page.
