Maldon District Council is asking stakeholders to submit sites that may be suitable for future development in the District.  The Council needs to have sufficient land to meet housing, employment and other strategic development needs.

This is an important phase of the Maldon District Council Local Development Framework (LDF), which is the statutory plan that will shape the district.  Stakeholders are being asked to identify sites with their boundaries, and in their submission, inform the Council on what land use they wish to see developed.  The Council will then assess the suitability of the submitted sites to determine whether they should be allocated for new development.
