For your recycling box collection please view the black and blue box pages above to ensure you put the right material in the right box.  We would also recommend reading these pages to avoid your recycling not being collected.

Clear sack collection:
Anyone with a white sack collection may put glass, cans, tins, empty aerosols, yellow pages, foil, paper and small cardboard in their sacks all together.

Collection Days:
Boxes and white sacks are collected on the same day as refuse collections and you can find out what day this is by contacting Maldon District Council on 01621 854477. Please ensure your rubbish is presented no later than 7am on the day of collection or no earlier than dusk the night before.

Extra Recycling:
The boxes have 55 litre capacity which should be enough to contain your recycling on a weekly basis. If you do not feel this is sufficient you may order another box..

Christmas collections:
Crews are instructed not to collect extra recycling outside of the box, the only exception is during the Christmas period when crews will do their best to accommodate your recycling needs.  The reason for this is to ensure that litter is not created.  However, if you feel crews have left litter as a result of their collection please contact us so that we can arrange for it to be cleared.
