Refuse and Recycling

For the financial year 2008/09 the Maldon District as a whole achieved an excellent recycling rate of 36.89%. This is an amazing figure, and reflects both the hard work of Maldon District Council and residents towards creating a cleaner and greener Maldon. However, given that nearly two-thirds of all household rubbish can be recycled there is still a lot more to be done. We need your continued support to maintain this level and to reach even higher levels of recycling.
