Maldon District Council has an agreement with environmental conservation charity BTCV which guarantees that they are available to provide hands on assistance to volunteer projects for a minimum of 2 days a month.

BTCV has been supporting people to improve their local environments for almost 50 years. Their vision is to create a better environment where people are valued, included and involved. In the UK they support 2225 local community groups involving over 106,000 people.

Maldon District Council has been working in partnership with BTCV for 5 years to deliver local environmental improvements throughout the District. We jointly undertake about 25 days of conservation projects every year.

Projects can be anything from tree planting to pond clearance or footpath improvements.
