We look forward to receiving applications from individuals and groups such as:

Landscape Enhancement Grant
The Landscape Enhancement Grant is available for parish and town councils and local community groups to enhance the local natural environment and peoples enjoyment of it.
Small scale environmental projects such as tree and hedge planting, pond restoration, access improvements and interpretation boards or leaflets can be funded.
The project must be able to be enjoyed by the local community and other sources of income will be expected to be found to help fund the project.
Grants are available for 30% of the total projects costs to a maximum value of £500. If you have an environmental project in mind but are unsure of whether it is eligible for grant aid please telephone the Coast and Countryside Team on 01621 854477, or fill in our Contact the Coast and Countryside Team e-form to discuss your project.

Historic Building Grant
The care and repair of a listed building is an important responsibility for its owner and can result in higher costs associated with using traditional materials and techniques.
Maldon District Council recognises that it can be appropriate, in some cases, to assist owners with these costs in acknowledgement of the listed status of their building.
