The Community Services Committee is responsible for

• Community Safety and Development (incl. sports, arts, events)
• Recreation and Leisure Services (incl. car parking, parks and open spaces, leisure centres, and community transport)
• Environmental Health (incl. health promotion) and Control (incl. food safety, nuisance, public health, drainage/flooding)
• Housing strategy (incl. allocations and homelessness policy), conditions and needs
• Waste Management (incl. street cleansing, refuse collection, recycling and street scene enforcement
