The Standards Committee is responsible for promoting and maintaining high standards of conduct by Maldon District, Town and Parish Councillors.

This includes helping Councillors to follow the Local Code of Conduct that exists for each Council, and it is the job of this Committee to decide whether there has been a breach of the code.

If you have any concerns about the behaviour of a District, Town or Parish Councillor who serves on a Council within the District of Maldon, please report them to the Monitoring Officer.

Parish Councillor Members are Councillor B M K Ascott and Councillor Mrs T Pink

Non-Members are independent members who have no connection with the Council, but have been chosen to bring a neutral element into the work of the Committee.

Meetings commence at 7.30 p.m, unless stated.
