In 2007/08 our eighth Local Performance Plan was published. The Plan incorporated our best value performance plan and it showed how well we had performed in recent years. It also set out our targets for improvement in future years.

The results of the Best Value Performance Indicators were published in July 2008. These show that Maldon District Council continues to improve the services it delivers and the way the Council is run.

The figures, which are in the download area, show that more than a third of the performance indicators collected in 2007/08 had improved from the year before. 40% of the results also show that the Council is performing better than a group of 15 similar Councils.

Out of the 91 performance indicators, 38 have improved since 2006/07 and 15 have stayed the same.
