The opening times may vary in the Winter period when some facilities close earlier.

RADAR, the Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation, launched the National Key Scheme in 1981 to provide toilets for people with disabilities and those facilities are intended for use solely by people with disabilities.
Keys can be obtained from the Council Offices, Princes Road, Maldon.
Cleaning of public conveniences is a service contracted out by the Council. Any complaints should be directed to the Council on 01621 854477.
In addition, there are six Automatic Public Conveniences (APC) located in the District. These are available 24 hours a day and, with the exception of the Disabled APC (accessible free with a RADAR key) there is a 10p charge for use. The locations are as follows:-
