Join the Tree Walk at Elms Farm Park

The Elms Farm Park Conservation Group and Maldon District Council are inviting local residents to join them on a free guided walk around Elms Farm Park on Saturday 17th May 2008 from 10am to 12 noon starting from the main entrance to the park, off the Heybridge Approach Road.
The walk will provide an opportunity to learn a little more about the wide variety of trees and shrubs that grow in and around the park.
Councillor Mrs Penny Channer, Chairman of Maldon District Council Community Services Committee, said "This is an excellent opportunity for local people to find out what trees grow in the park, learn about some of the uses and traditions associated with them and to see how they are now being managed to enhance the wildlife value of the area."
