Windfarm Application Southminster

Maldon District Council has received a planning appliction for a proposal to construct nine wind turbine generators with an overall height to tip of 125m, and associated crane hardstanding areas, access tracks, substation building, 80m meteorological mast, hardstanding area for marine access, temporary laydown area, temporary construction compound, and associated electrical infrastructure.

 

The planning application is subject to a detailed consultation and publicity period. The planning application will be considered by the Council’s Planning Committees for a decision at a future date.

 

Anyone interested in viewing the planning application can see a copy of the documents which are available in the Council’s reception area and via the Council’s website through use of the ‘Track an Application Online’ service. The application number is FUL/MAL/10/00004.

 

In addition, a copy of the planning application is available for viewing at the Southminster One Place centre, located in the High Street, Southminster (on the corner of High Street and Burnham Road).
