Your views on our loos - Closing date looms

11 08 08

Maldon District Council’s consultation for public toilets finishes on the 31 August 2008 and with nearly 200 responses in the first month alone we have been ‘flushed’ with success!

With around £200,000 a year spent on public toilets by Maldon District Council, it is vital that we receive as many of ‘your views on our loos’ so that the service can be run as efficiently as possible.  If you have not given us your views already there is a short questionnaire available online at www.maldon.gov.uk.  Additionally, paper copies are available from the following locations;

  • Maldon District Council Offices
  • Maldon Town Council Offices
  • White Horse Lane Toilets, Maldon
  • Maldon Tourist Information Centre
  • One Place’ in Southminister and Burnham-on-Crouch
  • Local libraries in Maldon, Southminister and Burnham-on-Crouch

Cllr David Williams, Vice Chairman of the Community Services Committee, said “I am really pleased that so many residents and visitors have given us their views. However, the more responses we have the more we can do to make sure this popular service is provided both effectively and efficiently.”
