Promenade Park is the District's most popular park and has undergone a major refurbishment in recent years.

You can spend all day here, enjoying one or more of the following:

• Amphitheatre and open air stage suitable for hosting theatrical productions and concerts

• 6 separate retail outlets for refreshments and other merchandise
• Formal gardens with a pergola, shrub borders, an Anglia in Bloom award winning drought garden, 3-dimensional carpet bedding displays, and many floral borders
• Formal pitches for football and cricket, and tennis courts with additional provision for netball
• Changing rooms
• 3 separate toilet blocks, including disabled
• Changing Places disabled toilet with ceiling hoist, changing bench and shower
• Car parking (pay and display), including designated disabled parking spaces, a separate coach park and drop off point
