Promenade Park

We support events organised across the District. We provide advice and guidance to events organisers and operate an equipment hire scheme.

The two main sites used by event organisers for small and large scale events are:

Promenade Park

Located in Maldon, Promenade Park sits on the River Blackwater and is host to the famous Maldon Mud Race.

Riverside Park

Located in Burnham-on-Crouch, Riverside Park is on the river and plays host to various boating events.

We provide:

Guidance to organisers - including how to complete a risk assessment.

Outdoor equipment hire - from bunting, tables and chairs, to larger items such as easy-ups, fencing and marquees.
