This diverse site consists of a series of flooded gravel pits and a range of different types of grassland, marsh vegetation, scrub and woodland. A self guided nature trail and guide leaflets are available from a dispenser attached to the car park notice board.
Work parties are arranged for the first Sunday of each month, meeting at 9am in the car park, but is advisable to check with the warden first by phoning 01621 853969.
