This Essex Wildlife Trust reserve consists of a short section of the disused Maldon to Woodham Ferrers railway line and an adjoining meadow.
The site is well known for its butterflies and the presence of glow worms. There is also an interesting range of plants including Common Spotted Orchid, Adders Tongue Fern and St John's Worts.
