Recycling Centre For Household Waste

Essex County Council operates recycling centres for household waste (Tips).  These centres accept a wide range of materials for recycling as well as general refuse.

If you are unsure about any items please speak to one of the site attendants for advice before depositing it. If you think some of your items may be of use to someone else please inform a site attendant. There is a section available for re-use at these recycling centres.

The opening times for the sites in the Maldon District are available by clicking on on the following links however please note that new opening hours will start from 9 January 2012

There are also sites in Ferrers Road, South Woodham Ferrers and Perry Road, Witham.

Ink cartridges

Recycleaid recycle ink and toner cartridges.  They will donate money to your chosen charity if you choose to send your empty cartridges to them for recycling. For further details please contact Recycleaid or telephone 0113 242 8935.
