Tree preservation

Tree surgeons

Tree work requires a high degree of skill, training and experience. It should only be carried out by properly qualified and competent professionals.

If work is not carried out correctly it could lead to:

  • injury to people
  • damage to property
  • irrevocable damage to your trees that have taken many years to grow

Anyone can call themselves a tree surgeon. An advert alone does not guarantee that work will be done well or safely. Please read this useful leaflet which gives advice on how to select your arborist. The Arboricultural Association also provides useful information and guidance on the selection of tree surgeons.
