How do I pay my council tax?

You can pay your council tax in various ways - the two quickest and easiest options are paying online and setting up a direct debit.

This is the easiest way to pay your council tax and you can choose you have your bill sent to you electronically.

You can pay by debit card* using our dedicated local telephone payment line. Payments can be made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week :

Send payments to: Maldon District Council, Council Offices, Princes Road, Maldon, Essex. CM9 5DL.

In person

You can pay by cash, cheque or debit card at any bank or post office.

Sharing information with your representative

Any information provided in connection with your council tax will be stored
securely. It will not be given to or shared with anyone outside Maldon District
Council unless the law allows. Under the Data Protection Act, we need your
permission to share or discuss personal information about your council tax with another person.
