The livewell website
All 13 Essex local authorities have come together to launch a new Livewell website that can help residents to eat well, get more active and guide you to find the support you need, to lead a healthy lifestyle.
The website has an interactive page where you can filter activities and events by location and discover what is happening near you, from parkrun, dementia-friendly fitness classes to Meet up Mondays. You can also get guidance on nutrition, local support to help you lose weight, healthy recipe ideas and where to TuckIN to a healthier takeaway.
Because mental wellness is as important as physical wellness, the website has some useful mental wellbeing advice and details of where to go if you need mental health support in Essex.
