The livewell website
All 13 Essex local authorities have come together to launch a new Livewell website that can help residents to eat well, get more active and guide you to find the support you need, to lead a healthy lifestyle.
The website has an interactive page where you can filter activities and events by location and discover what is happening near you, from parkrun, dementia-friendly fitness classes to Meet up Mondays. You can also get guidance on nutrition, local support to help you lose weight, healthy recipe ideas and where to TuckIN to a healthier takeaway.
Because mental wellness is as important as physical wellness, the website has some useful mental well-being advice and details of where to go if you need mental health support in Essex.
