This Weekend - Saltmarsh75 2017

Entries are now closed for Saltamarsh75 2017 and the team are getting really excited for this year’s event.

The Saltmarsh75 is a two day ultra-marathon, where competitors tackle 75 miles of some of England’s most unique and stunning coast line; the Saltmarsh Coast of the Maldon District.

Supporters and Spectators

The Saltmarsh75 is a truly challenging event, open to relay teams, runners and walkers. The best place to see the participants will be:

Day 1 - 7th October - Riverside Park, Burnham-on-Crouch 10:20 to 12:30.
The first runners will pass through Riverside Park, Burnham-on-Crouch and along the Town Quay around 10:30am with the last walker leaving Burnham about 12:30pm.

Day 2 – 8th October – Promenade Park, Maldon 9:15 to 11:30.
The first runners will pass through Promenade Park, Maldon and along Hythe Quay around 9:15am with the last walker around 11:30am.

You will also be able to see participants throughout the weekend at different points along the Maldon District Coast line. Please make sure you give them a cheer!

The Saltamarsh75 is a true community event and could not take place without the help of our volunteers and other organisations. Our thanks go to Rover Rescue part of Essex Land Rover Club, RAYNET The Radio Amateurs' Emergency Network, Marsh Farm Animal Adventure Park, North Fambridge Yacht Haven, the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club, the Bradwell Othona Community, Bradwell Marina, Stone Watersports Club, Steeple Parish Council, The Star Inn Steeple, The View at Osea Leisure, Goldhanger Sailing Club, the Loft Tea Room Tollesbury, Salcott Parish Council, all landowners and neighbours along the route and of course all our lovely volunteers.
