Exhibition art cakes

Deceptively delicious looking cakes are on display in the Council’s Exhibition Area.

As part of making the Council Offices more engaging and community centred, visitors will now find a new display of wonderful creative art and craft from local students.

‘Mouth-watering’ 3D cakes, created by Maldon Court Preparatory School year 4 students are on display alongside new work by Plume Community Academy Students, including a small science display and examples of exempla art.

The display is the second community exhibition being hosted in the Council’s new ‘mini’ exhibition space which is located in the Council’s reception and customer service space. This will be a changing and flexible space, on show to the public during opening hours.
