Waste collections update - From 09 March 2018

A limited number of waste collections remain outstanding.

Waste crews have been working hard all week to clear the backlog of recycling and refuse following the extreme weather last week. The majority of households have now had their refuse, recycling and food waste collected and will return to normal next week.

A limited number of refuse collections remain outstanding from Thursday 1st March in the south west of the District, these will be completed on Monday 12th March.

A number of recycling collections from Thursday 1st March are also outstanding also in the south west of the District. Residents with outstanding recycling collections are asked to re-present their recycling on Thursday 15th March, in line with their normal collection schedule.

Additionally, residents on Isolated Routes whose collections were on the 2nd or 9th of March will now be collected on Tuesday 13th March.

Any other residents who feel their collections have been missed are asked to report a missed collection online www.maldon.gov.uk

Garden waste services will restart as planned on Tuesday 13 March.

We sincerely apologise to all residents who are continuing to be affected by the suspension of collection services from last week and that, despite our best efforts, we were not able to resolve the backlog as planned this week.
