Maldon Livewell Partnership Grant 2018-19

We are pleased to announce the launch of The Maldon Livewell Partnership Grant scheme for 2018-19.

The scheme (which is funded by Essex County Council Public Health) is administered by Maldon District Council on behalf of the Partnership and is available to not-for-profit organisations and community groups, to help improve health and wellbeing across the District.

Funding of up to £10,000 is available for projects or activities which support the District’s Health and Wellbeing priorities.

Maldon Livewell Partnership Grant 2018-19

The District’s Health and Wellbeing priorities are:

  • Obesity (child and adult)
  • Mental health
  • Ageing population needs:
    • Social isolation
    • Frailty

Specific areas of focus:

  • Increase activity minutes for all.
  • Promotion and uptake of sustainable healthy eating.
  • Social interaction to combat isolation and loneliness.
  • Fall prevention.
  • Mental health support.

Expressions of interest are now welcomed and should be submitted to ben.page@maldon.gov.uk - no later than Friday 25th May 2018.

Final application deadline is Friday 15th June 2018.

This grant scheme helps deliver our goal to promote healthy life styles and support an ageing population.”
