Maldon District Council Supports Jacob’s Backpack Campaign

A box to support Jacob's Backpack Campaign is ready to receive your donations!
Cllr Henry Bass, Chairman of Maldon District Council recently met Wentworth Primary School pupil Jacob Rabi-Laleh to offer the Council’s support with his Backpack campaign by becoming a collection point.
Jacob is collecting items for backpacks which he then gives to the homeless.
The collection box is at the Council’s main reception and Jacob has produced copies of his list of things needed.
Cllr Bass, said, “It was a pleasure to meet Jacob and learn more about his campaign. He is a real credit to his family and I am delighted that we are able to help him collect items for his backpack campaign.”
Donations can be left during our offices hours Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 5.00pm and 8.30pm – 4.30pm on Friday
