Essex Police and Fire Commissioner - Maldon Public Meeting – Tuesday, January 8, 2019

Do you want to know the latest on crime trends and proactive policing operations in the Maldon district? Do you have a question for Essex County Fire and Rescue Service’s senior team? If so, make a date in your diary to come to a public meeting being held in Maldon, organised by Roger Hirst, the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex

The meeting is taking place on Tuesday, January 8. 2019 between 6.30pm and 8pm at the Town Hall, Market Hill, Maldon, CM9 4RL.

Mr Hirst said: “Public meetings are a great way to hear directly from local communities about concerns they might have and areas of activity that are in place and working well. Very often a joint approach is the answer to a problem. I hold regular public meetings across the county and with a panel of experts on hand, these meetings are a great way to find the solutions together. Do come along whether you have criticisms, compliments or constructive comments to make. We want to hear them all because your voices matter.”

Roger Hirst will be chairing the meeting and will be joined by Deputy Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Jane Gardner, Chief Inspector Gerry Parker, the District Commander for Chelmsford and Maldon, as well as the area’s Group Manager Greg Keys from Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and Spencer Clarke from the local Community Safety Partnership. A briefing document detailing crime trends and statistics for the area will be available ahead of the meeting at
