Join Dan for a chilled-out dinner at the Crouch Valley Festival, Riverside Park Friday 19th and Saturday 20th July from 7:30pm.
With fine food just the way Dan likes it; No fuss, no nonsense, just enjoyable food made really well. With full bar and fine wines from Crouch Ridge Vineyard, hot and cold drinks and ice creams. Part of the Crouch Valley Festival of Food and Drink these "laid back and exclusive dinners promise to be a great evening.

The Taste Stage

Join us at our Taste Stage for a session with one of our local producers and experts.
Taste Stage sessions are hosted by a local producer or expert who will guide you through their fine products. Lasting around half an hour these exclusive sessions will enable you to sample local food and drink just the way the producer intended. Tiptree Tastings - Taste and learn about Tiptree’s newest liqueurs. You will be guided through the complete range of Tiptree liqueurs. You will get the opportunity to learn about these products, how you can utilise them in cocktails as well as sample these tasty tipples.
Signature wines of the Crouch Valley - Enjoy a tutored wine tasting with Lucy from New Hall Vineyard, who will take you on a journey of sensory delight as you learn how to judge and taste wines. You will enjoy three award winning wines including our legendary Bacchus, which is produced from the oldest plantation of vines in the UK.
Award winning single estate sparkling & still wines - Sam Lonergan from Crouch Ridge Vineyard will share her passion and love of wine and the Crouch Valley countryside. You will experience a fun tutored wine tasting session for three of their fine wines, including one of their award winning Sparkling Wines.
Have you wibbled? - Hosted by Jim Morton, ex-landlord of Queen’s Head, Burnham and CAMRA Regional Beer Tasting Panel (20 July) and Chris Harvey, Chairman of Maldon & Dengie CAMRA (21 July). Jim and Chris will introduce you to the delights of sampling a carefully chosen selection of ales from the award-winning Wibblers Brewery in Southminster. You’ll experience a guided tour of five different styles of beer, ranging from a refreshing and distinctive lager to a dark, smooth stout. There’ll also be a locally-made cider for you to try. After the session, you’ll be able to taste beers like a pro!
Carr’s Flour to appear at The Crouch Valley Festival this weekend
Carr’s Flour are also gearing up to exhibit at the Crouch Valley Festival Visitors to the festival will be able to meet their local millers, who will also be collaborating with Leigh-on-Sea bakers Flour and Spoon Artisan Bakery. On their stand will be a variety of delicious fresh bakes all made using their locally grown and milled flour, including Carr’s’ Artisan Bakers Flour and Wholemeal varieties.
Visitors to the stand will also be able to take part in a competition to win a Panasonic Bread Maker, so they can start their baking journey back home too.
