Published on Wednesday, 1st April 2020

Maldon and District CVS, in collaboration with a range of community partners, have set up a FREE service to ensure that our Community are supported throughout the Coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic.

This service, which has been in operation since the start of the of the epidemic and has seen 270 people already volunteer through Maldon CVS to help with a variety of requests of help throughout the District.

However, more volunteers are needed and they can easily offer their support by following this link.

If residents would like to refer themselves or someone else for support please follow this link:

This service is collating requests for information and support which the CVS match with a volunteer who will provide the support that is needed.

The service offers support with collection of prescriptions, pet care, food packages, meal deliveries, safe & well checks, as well as telephone befriending for anyone who is suffering from loneliness.
