Council Launches Annual Residents and Business Survey

Maldon District Council is launching its annual Residents and Business Survey.
The survey goes live on Monday 21 September 2020 and will be available for six weeks until 1 November 2020. It can be completed by going to www.maldon.gov.uk/yourviews
The 2019 survey was the first of its kind. 520 residents and 43 businesses responded to the questions which covered everything from general views about the District, health and wellbeing and climate change to detailed questions about Council services and facilities.
Giving the Council your views is vital to help shape services and plans for the future. This is always important but as the District gradually moves out of the COVID-19 situation, it is crucial to understand how the Council can continue to do better.
Richard Holmes, Director of Service Delivery, said; “I would like to thank everyone who took the time to respond to last year’s survey. The results of the first survey in December 2019 have given the Council some useful feedback and we are feeding this into our improvement plans.
“Gathering information like this is one of the best ways of understanding what people across the District think and the valuable information that we get helps us to deliver the best services that we can.
“I would like to encourage as many residents and businesses as possible to complete the survey.”
