The Jacksons & Wet Wet Wet co headline one day summer festival in Maldon on Saturday 18 June,

Musical superstars The Jacksons (Undoubtedly the world's most famous music family of all time!) & Wet Wet Wet will perform live at Fantasia, Promenade Park, Maldon on the 18 June this year as part of 7 hours of music and entertainment. (Biographies shown below).

The groups will be supported by leading ABBA tribute Bjorn Again, Sabrina Washington (Mis-Teeq), X Factor winner Matt Cardle, ITV’s Star Struck finalist Rob Lea will be performing his band Majesty as Queen and 70-piece choir Funky Voices (recently seen backing Erasure) opening up the festival!

The one day mini festival finishes with a spectacular fireworks finale organised and run by the wonderful Fireworks Crazy.

Food will be available across the festival as well as small independent business stalls, fun fair rides and bars serving beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks.

The Jacksons said: ‘We are looking forward Fantasia in Maldon and performing all our hits, ‘I want you back’, ‘ABC’, ‘I’ll Be There’, ‘Can You Feel It’, ‘Dancing Machine’ & ‘Shake Your Body Down to the Ground’. Don’t meet us there, Beat us there!’

The festival has been organised by In the Park Concerts a team of industry experts; Steve Cochrane has previously promoted shows featuring Craig David, UB40, Marc Almond, Alexandra O’Neil and Soul II Soul and Sean McLoughlin, who produced Village Green, VG: Next Generation and McFly in the Park.

They said: ‘We brought back Fantasia for the people of Maldon (and beyond) to enjoy a fabulous day listening and watching exciting artists from the UK and around the World, creating opportunities for local business and freelance staff. There is nothing like this running in the area. Global acts in your local park! Bring on the summer!’
