Maldon District Council is pleased to announce its first-ever Christmas Market, taking place on Sunday 30th November 2025 at the Amphitheatre in Promenade Park, Maldon.

This brand-new festive event will be free to attend and is suitable for families of all ages.

The Christmas Market will be open from 10am to 4pm, and visitors can enjoy a variety of stalls including food and drink, and entertainment throughout the day, with performances from choirs, musicians, and community groups.

Cllr Richard Siddall, Leader of Maldon District Council, said; “I hope this new event will bring the community together to celebrate the start of the festive season and bring residents and visitors to the Town to support our local traders and performers.”

Everyone is welcome to come along, enjoy the activities, and get into the festive spirit! This project is part-funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
