UFest to return to Maldon Promenade Park this August
Published on Thursday, 28th May 2026
Maldon District Council is pleased to announce that UFest will return to Promenade Park on Friday 14 August 2026.
UFest is a free, fun community festival that celebrates life, health, and wellbeing. It brings people together for a day full of activities, entertainment, and chances to learn something new.
Held in the beautiful setting of Maldon’s Promenade Park, UFest invites people of all ages to come along and enjoy a day out with family and friends. The event is open to everyone in the district and beyond.
Visitors can expect a wide range of things to see and do, including live music, interactive stalls, games, sports, and activities run by local groups and organisations. The event also helps people connect with services and support available in their community.
UFest has grown in popularity since it first began in 2022, with more organisations and visitors taking part each year.
Cllr Simon Morgan, Leader of Maldon District Council, said: “I’m delighted that UFest will be returning to Promenade Park this summer. It’s not just a great day out for everyone but also a superb opportunity to showcase what makes our community special.
By bringing together representatives of local services and organisations into one place, it makes it much easier for residents and visitors to find out what support is available and how it can help them.
However, perhaps the best thing about UFest is that it’s totally free! Anyone can come along and enjoy what’s on offer. There’s something for all ages, so whether you want to try a new activity, enjoy live music, or just spend time with family and friends, come along on 14 August and be part of UFest.”
More details about the event will be shared on the Council’s website and social media channels in the coming weeks.
