Communicating whilst applications are being assessed

All planning decisions will be made in accordance with the relevant legislation, taking into account all material planning considerations (where relevant).

While we are processing the application, we will not:

  • Give progress updates on an application

  • Give advice on the likely outcome of the application

  • Enter into general correspondence

  • Respond to neighbour comments or questions

  • Accept revised plans or additional information, unless we have specifically requested them in order to make an otherwise unacceptable scheme acceptable. An extension to the statutory deadline for determination may also be required to enable these changes to be considered.

This applies to planning agents, applicants or any third parties, including neighbours.
