- Forms of nomination for the District Election may be obtained at Princes Road, Maldon, Essex, CM9 5DL from the Returning Officer, or downloaded from the Electoral Commission website here.
- Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Princes Road, Maldon, Essex, CM9 5DL on any working day after the date of this notice on Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm but no later than 12pm on Wednesday 30 April 2025.
- If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 29 May 2025.
- Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Monday 12 May 2025. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
- Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Princes Road, Maldon, Essex, CM9 5DL by 5pm on Tuesday 13 May 2025. - New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Princes Road, Maldon, Essex, CM9 5DL by 5pm on Tuesday 20 May 2025. Applications can be made online: Apply for a proxy vote - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
- Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 20 May 2025. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate
- Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on grounds of physical incapacity or for work/service reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Princes Road, Maldon, Essex, CM9 5DL by 5 pm on Thursday 29 May 2025. The physical incapacity must have occurred after 5 pm on Tuesday 20 May 2025. To apply on the grounds of work/service, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5pm on Tuesday 20 May 2025.
