Parking in council owned car parks
Disabled parking bays are provided FREE in all the Council's pay and display car parks in Maldon town centre and Promenade Park.
If the disabled bays are full, you may also park in a regular space for FREE.
A Blue Badge must be displayed on arrival.
Parking is FREE and there is no time limit in our car parks.
Please note that the 30-minute only rule in the marked limited waiting bays in Butt Lane and High Street East car park also applies to blue badge holders.
Parking on the road
If you are a Blue Badge holder, you can park for free in an on-street disabled bay. You can park for free all day unless otherwise stated on the sign by the disabled bay.
If you are a Blue Badge holder, you are entitled to park for free anywhere there is legal on-street parking.
You should clearly display a valid disabled person’s badge and time clock, or we will issue a parking fine (Penalty Charge Notice).
