Cooling tower notification
If you own or manage non-domestic premises in the Maldon district, you must notify us of any cooling tower or evaporative condenser on the premises.
This process of notification is governed by The Notification of Cooling Towers and Evaporative Condensers Regulations 1992 and must be in writing on a form approved by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) as soon as possible. There is no fee for notification.
You must notify us in writing of any changes to the notification information within 1 month of the change and as soon as possible if you no longer have cooling towers or evaporative condensers.
